The final chapter in the Zero Escape series. The final story in the trilogy following up on Nine Doors, Nine Persons, Nine Hours, and Virtue’s Last Reward. Like its previous entries Zero Time Dilemma is a story-driven thriller where players are trapped in a room and solve several puzzles for their freedom.
Unlike past entries in the Zero Escape series, ZTD removes the visual novel aspect and made the game more cinematic. 999 and VLR gave players a branching map of chronological events. While it still exists in this game, the linear start-to-finish aspect is absent, and players are instead given parts of the story scattered throughout the time line for an extra sense of mystery.
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma releases today June 28th on 3DS, and Playstation Vita with a Steam releasing on June 30th 2016.
